Loh Laa

A foreign lass in greater Eorzea, Loh is a curious and energetic woman that keeps neither her feet, nor her thoughts, close to the ground. Eager and bright, she is dancer and artist, scholar and mage, and anything that pops into her head to explore. Having left her homeland to try and find something greater for herself, Loh did not fit with the rather conservative and narrow minds of her home and tribe, and she treats every challenge and opportunity with zeal, if only to move onto the next field of study before becoming a master.Loh has a very unique way of speaking, with a bright accent (think French!) and broken grammar, and it is an iconic element often cited, or decried, by her company mates."Hi! A few things to note about Loh;- Loh does not often like other Miqo'te. This stems not only from her people's background (which she would explain if you get her trust), but even among her village, she was less than popular, and left home for that reason. If you are Miqo'te, you may have to warm a cold shoulder.- Sadly, Loh is a bit petulant, and if she feels rebuffed or snubbed, she will hold that against you. Do it too early, or too often, and your character will need to make her feel wanted.- Laa likes to play, and have fun, and she likes her playtime rough, or frenetic. Or very rough.- Loh has a history in magic, dance, art and, perhaps ironically, linguistics. While she may not speak Common Eorzean well, she can absolutely translate more than a few languages. She did a lot of reading, before she left home.- Loh works for the Nomad Aegis, currently, as many things; bartender, mage, healer, dancer, artist, inventory manager, she'd carry business cards if she could fit it all down. Need something? She's happy to help.- The Moonkeeper has a thing for 'childish' entertainment; plays, stories, even the drawn series 'Happy Cow,' a short story series of comedic nature made for young adults. She may have things with the company's symbol.- If Loh is challenging you to a fight, she is interested in you. Good luck. (Be careful and don't hold back, she cheats!) Similarly, if you challenge Loh to a fight, be warned, this could get her interest.- An important note: Loh has joined various clubs and establishments in Eorzea as a dancer, to perform, express her art and feel free. This can include brothels. Loh is not a courtesan, and sex should not be expected, nor will she ever ICly have sex for money. She is an amorous and flirty type, however, and if she takes a liking, there is a chance she could show interest in a guest.- An OOC note; if you whisper me IC, and do so in a creepy or crude manner, Loh will likely take it as an IC whisper and be annoyed, personally. It's one thing to whisper IC and be sweet, or to do so with a greeting, or OOC approach or chat, but IC whispers of 'want sum fuk' bother me. Greatly. Loh will likely find such approaches as rude and repulsive, as she has little respect for creepy and unwanted advances that are kept quiet to avoid a scene in case of rejection.
